Amos Bocelli is an Italian singer-songwriter. He is the oldest child of operatic tenor and singer-songwriter Andrea Bocelli and Enrica Cenzatti.

Andrea Bocelli, the father of Amos, was brought up on the family estate in Lajatico, which was surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. The physicians told his own parents to have an abortion because they thought he would be born severely disabled.
Congenital glaucoma was ultimately determined to be his condition. After an incident during a football game, he entirely lost his vision at the age of 12.

Amos and his younger brother were raised in the Tuscan tourist community of Forte dei Marmi. Although their parents split up sometime in 2002, they chose to raise their two sons jointly. On the second birthday of their child, Bocelli and Berti got married.

Since he was a young child, he had a passion for music, and at the age of six, he began taking piano lessons. He also picked up the drums, guitar, trumpet, trombone, saxophone, and other instruments throughout the ensuing years.
After high school, he made the decision to seek a law degree instead, as he did not intend to support himself only as a vocalist at the moment. He so decided to enroll at the University of Pisa to study law while also working as a piano player at different pubs during his leisure time to supplement his income. Although Bocelli received his degree in 1986, he didn’t start practicing law until after a year.
Then he contacted the well-known tenor Franco Corelli and asked him to instruct him. Bocelli returned to playing piano in bars to make extra money to pay for the lessons after Corelli graciously accepted him as a student.
Amos joined the Almud Edizioni Musicali board of directors, Bocelli’s commercial and management office, in January 2014. He joined the board of directors of the ABF Andrea Bocelli Foundation, Bocelli’s charitable organization, in April 2016.

Amos is musically talented like his father. Over the past few years, he has been developing as a pianist, gaining knowledge and reputation. He played the piano for his father during his live rendition of “Love Me Tender” in April 2013. Amos participated in the creation of his father’s most recent album, “S.” (2018). In the acoustic versions of the songs “Sono Qui” (I Am Here) and “Ali di Libertà,” he plays the piano.
