The Division 2 Title Update 4 has just gone live, bringing the Dodge City Gunslinger Exotic Holster to the game. In this guide, we'll outline its associated quest steps to get the Blueprint and associated parts. Time to snag your very first piece of Exotic gear.

Division 2 Dodge City Gunslinger Exotic Holster Guide & Quest Steps

To start the quest, visit the Blueprint vendor near the Crafting Bench in the Base of Operations. Seen below, she has a new item called "Holser Intel: Go west young Agent." Purchase that for a small fee to begin the actual quest steps.

The hint associated with that intel is that the very first step revolves around the westmost Control Point in the game. As of now that's the Riverside Gas Station. Go there and take it over on any level you choose. Finishing that task gets you the Fast Leather Belt. Turn in your Project to get the next step. This Exotic quest focuses primarily on Control Points, so, if you need a refresher, feel free to use our Control Point guide.

The next Project is called The Good, the Bad and the Evil. There are three more pieces to the Dodge City Gunslinger Exotic Holster, and you get them by taking over one Level 4 Control Point belonging to each of the game's three main Factions.

  • Ornate Leather Holster - Hyena Level 4 Control Point
  • Inverted Leather Holster - True Sons Level 4 Control Point
  • Oiled Hammer Guards - Outcast Level 4 Control Point

When you reach the final wave of enemies at each of these Control Points, you'll know you've done it right when a cowboy hat-wearing boss appears. Each time you kill that boss, he'll drop the Gunslinger Exotic part associated with that faction.

With four parts collected, head back to the Base of Operations and get the Project called "Showdown at High Noon Saloon." You'll find High Noon Saloon here on the map. To complete this step, all you have to do is go to this spot after 12:00 on the in-game timer. To check the in-game time, open the pause menu and enter Photo Mode. You'll see the clock in the top-right area of the screen below your location.

Get there at the desired time and you'll trigger one more encounter with a few Black Tusks and a cowboy hat foe. Kill him and he'll drop the Holster: Rind item. That's the last piece you need to craft the Dodge City Gunslinger Holster. To finish up, go back to the Base and claim your Blueprint. Use the parts plus one Providence and one Petrov holster to fashion it all together.

    • Pistol headshot kills grant +20 percent weapon damage and allows your primary and secondary weapons to penetrate enemies for eight seconds This duration is increased to 11 seconds when using a revolver.

With these advantages in mind, the Dodge City Gunslinger Exotic Holster is best suited for niche pistol-based builds and possibly those based around LMGs. It's also worth noting that this attachment can be used with the Liberty Exotic Pistol as well for added effect. The Gunslinger doesn't break the game in serious ways, but it's a nice item to have with some solid benefits.

The Division 2 is available now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
